Nathan Voorhis Signs with the New York Jets
Forever Athlete Management celebrates Nathan Voorhis as he takes the next step in his football journey with the New York Jets.
Forever Athlete Management (FAM) is proud to celebrate defensive end Nathan Voorhis signing with the New York Jets.
For Voorhis, the opportunity represents the latest chapter in a collegiate journey that took him through UConn, Bryant University, and ultimately Ball State, where he emerged as one of the nation's most productive pass rushers during the 2025 season.
From Stroudsburg to the Collegiate Ranks
A native of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Voorhis was a two-time all-conference standout at Stroudsburg High School, earning first-team all-conference honors at defensive end and second-team honors at tight end as a senior.
He began his collegiate career at UConn, appearing in games during the 2022 and 2023 seasons before transferring to Bryant University. At Bryant in 2024, Voorhis took on an expanded role, recording 47 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, five sacks and a forced fumble. His season included a five-game streak with at least one sack.
That progression set the stage for a breakout final collegiate season.
A Breakout Season at Ball State
Voorhis transferred to Ball State for the 2025 season and quickly became a disruptive force on the Cardinals' defensive front.
He finished the season with 51 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, and two forced fumbles. His 12 sacks tied for the MAC lead and ranked him among the national leaders. The performance earned Voorhis First-Team All-MAC honors.
His 12 sacks were also the most by a Ball State player since 1982 and finished just one shy of the program's single-season record. Among the highlights was a career-high 3.5-sack performance in Ball State's win over defending MAC champion Ohio.
Following his standout season, Voorhis accepted an invitation to compete in the 2026 Hula Bowl, becoming the fifth Ball State player selected to participate in the senior all-star game.
Taking the Next Step
Now, Voorhis' journey continues with the New York Jets.
His path from UConn to Bryant and Ball State reflects the persistence required to continue developing, seize new opportunities and ultimately earn a chance at the professional level.
At Forever Athlete Management, we are proud to support athletes throughout every stage of that journey. From collegiate development and preparation to professional opportunities and long-term career growth, FAM remains committed to standing alongside our athletes as they pursue what's next.
We are proud to celebrate Nathan as he takes this next step in his football career.
Congratulations, Nathan! The journey continues. #FAMProud
