Marcus Major Signs with the Montreal Alouettes

Forever Athlete Management celebrates Marcus Major’s next chapter in professional football.

Forever Athlete Management (FAM) is proud to celebrate running back Marcus Major’s signing with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Major brings an extensive football background to Montreal, having competed at the collegiate and professional levels while continuing to pursue opportunities to make an impact in the backfield.

From Oklahoma to the Professional Ranks

A native of Oklahoma City, Major began his collegiate career at the University of Oklahoma, where he spent five seasons with the Sooners. During his Oklahoma career, he accumulated 833 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns while adding 177 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.

One of his early career highlights came during Oklahoma's 2020 Cotton Bowl victory, when Major rushed for 110 yards and scored on a 46-yard touchdown run.

Major completed his collegiate career at the University of Minnesota in 2024. In his season with the Golden Gophers, he rushed for 352 yards and three touchdowns while adding 20 receptions for 144 yards and another score. He finished his collegiate career with 1,185 rushing yards, 321 receiving yards, and 14 total offensive touchdowns.

Continuing His Professional Journey

Following college, Major signed with the Baltimore Ravens in 2025 before continuing his professional journey through the CFL and UFL.

Most recently, Major played for Houston in the UFL during the 2026 season, recording 228 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 43 carries. He averaged 5.3 yards per attempt and broke a 72-yard run during the season.

Now, his journey takes him to Montreal.

Joining the Alouettes gives Major another opportunity to bring his experience, physical running style, and playmaking ability to the professional level.

At Forever Athlete Management, we understand that an athlete's career is built through preparation, perseverance, and the ability to embrace each new opportunity. FAM remains committed to supporting our athletes throughout the milestones and transitions that define their careers.

We are proud to stand alongside Marcus as he begins this next chapter.

Congratulations, Marcus! The journey continues. #FAMProud
